They are a condiment, widely consumed in Spain also as aperitif along with Spanish green or black olives. Used as salad ingredient and with pork preserves and cheese “raclettes”. Requires a lot of labour for cultivation, harvesting, and processing, especially the little sizes, which are typical from Southeast Asian countries
